Manual Briefing Install & Setup Server Controls Weapons Camos

Install and Setup

Infiltration REQUIRES the 224/225 Patch!

This manual is for Infiltration version 2.65. If you have an older version installed, 2.65 can be installed properly over any previous install.

Follow the Setup installation instructions below:

DOWNLOAD AND SYSTEM PREPARATION:

Make sure you're at least running Unreal 224/225f patch for all operating systems. If you need to get the 224 or 224f patch, be sure to visit Sniper's Paradise Unreal Patch page.

Infiltration 2.65 is available for download in a few different formats:

  • Full Install (2.65 + Maps)
  • 2.65 Game Infiltration only
  • Infiltration Map pack

Available in uMod and Manual Install (zip).

They can all be found in the Infiltration Downloads Section.

Installing the Umod:
For those who downloaded the Umod version, open the Double-click the Infiltration.Umod.

Follow the Setup instructions to complete the installation. Make sure you install directly to your Unreal directory.

This entire operation will install Infiltration into your Unreal directory.

Once the installation is finished, start Infiltration using the game setup menu. Skip to the section entitled Getting Infiltration Up and Running for more information.

That's all there is to it! This will ensure a clean, easy to use installation of Infiltration.

Due to a number of changes between 2.5 and 2.65 your existing .ini file will be overwritten to ensure that INF 2.65 will work properly. Unfortunately, this means that you will have to adjust your key bindings again but there is no other way for a clean update to the new version. Please do not try to use your old .ini files as they will probably not work properly.

Installing the Manual Zip Files:
After downloading the manual zip, open it up with your favorite unzip program.  You will be presented with a complete list of files that need to be extracted.   You should notice that these files should be extracted to the correct Unreal folder.

.UTX into your Unreal\Textures
.UNR into your Unreal\Maps
.UAX into your Unreal\Sounds
.UMX into your Unreal\Music
.U into your Unreal\System
.INI into your Unreal\System
.INT into your Unreal\System

You must extract these files to your Unreal directory.  (For example, C:\Games\Unreal)  If you have to do them individually, you can see which subdirectories they will need to be placed in manually.

Installing the Map Pack:

The Map Pack includes every map, texture and sound file needed to play the Infiltration Maps.

Many of the textures in the map packs are courtesy of Marlin Studios, Geezer Studios, or otherwise copyright Sentry Studios.  As such, the individual textures cannot be exported and distributed on the internet or through any other means without proper permission from the respective authors.

Joining an Infiltration Game:

- Run gspylite.exe in your Unreal/System directory and find servers with an [INF] game mode.

- Use your Unreal Server Browser to locate an INF game, double click the server name to join.

UNINSTALLING INFILTRATION:

Uninstall manually by going into your Unreal directory and remove all files AND folders with the Infiltration name or "INF" prefix.

Be sure not to forget the Unreal\System directory for Infiltration-related files.
